Palmer Wade respects your privacy and handles personal information with care. This policy explains what we collect through palmerwade.com, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Who we are
Palmer Wade is a Bermuda-rooted business systems and digital operations consultancy. Questions about this policy or the information we hold may be sent to info@palmerwade.com.
Information we collect
When you contact us or submit a project enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, organization or personal brand, location, website or social profile, service interests, project details, timing, investment range, decision-making role, preferred contact method, and any other information you choose to provide.
Our website and service providers may also collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, access times, security logs, and essential cookie data.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess project fit, arrange conversations, prepare proposals, provide agreed services, manage client and billing relationships, maintain website security, comply with legal obligations, and improve our website and processes. Submitting a project enquiry does not create a client relationship or reserve capacity.
Service providers and disclosures
We may share information with trusted providers that support our website, forms, email delivery, scheduling, document signing, client portal, billing, analytics, hosting, security, or professional operations. They receive only the information reasonably needed for their role. Some providers may process information outside Bermuda. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a lawful business reorganization.
Palmer Wade does not sell or rent personal information.
Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, our professional and legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. Enquiries that do not become client engagements are normally reviewed for deletion or anonymization within 24 months. Client, contract, and financial records may be retained longer where required for legitimate business, accounting, insurance, or legal purposes.
Cookies and third-party services
The website may use cookies needed for security, administration, form operation, and basic functionality. Embedded content and links to third-party services operate under those providers’ own terms and privacy practices.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, including Bermuda’s Personal Information Protection Act 2016, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access or correction, ask about the purposes for which it has been used, or withdraw consent where consent is the relevant basis. Some information may need to be retained where law or legitimate obligations require it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, or highly sensitive credentials through a general enquiry form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will identify the current version.
